Designed with parents, for parents – FirstView®, powered by First Student, makes you a part of your student’s journey. This innovative app is your resource for knowing the location of your student’s bus, estimated arrival times at your student’s stop, and when your student’s bus arrives or departs their school. With a partnership between First Student and the school districts they serve, FirstView® brings increased transparency and communication about the school bus for students and their families.

Features of FirstView

- Live Tracking: The FirstView® map screen shows you the live location and direction of your student’s bus. It also provides your student's stop schedule for the current day along with timestamps for school arrivals and departures.

- Predictive Stop Arrival Times: By analyzing route and real-time GPS data, FirstView® determines an estimated time of arrival to your stop, which is displayed on the map.

- Custom Alerts and Messages: Stay informed with push or email notifications that alert you when your student's bus is a chosen distance or number of minutes away from your stop. You can also receive push messages about the reason for bus delays and an estimation of the delay duration.

- Multi-Stop View: Easily track buses for all your students with FirstView®. Each student's selected stop appears on the map with an individual color, making it simple to differentiate and view multiple stops simultaneously.

- Additional User Notifications: The main user of the FirstView® app can connect three additional email accounts to receive email alerts, ensuring that everyone stays informed about bus-related updates.

- Secure and Easy Access: FirstView® requires a password-protected account and your student's ID for app set-up, ensuring that only authorized users can view your student's stop. You can register and log in from your smartphone, tablet, or desktop for convenient access.

1. Is FirstView® available in all school districts?

Unfortunately, FirstView® is currently only available in a limited number of school districts. However, First Student is actively working to expand its availability. To know if FirstView® is available in your school district, please contact your school district or the FirstView® support team.

2. How can I contact FirstView® customer support?

You can reach out to FirstView® customer support by calling their toll-free phone number from Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST. You can also email customer support or use the in-app messaging feature to provide feedback.

Yes, with FirstView®, you can easily track buses for all your students. Each student's selected stops will be displayed on the map with individual colors, allowing for convenient differentiation and viewing.
